DO WE USE 'COOKIES'?

DATA COLLECTION VIA WEBSITE AND MOBILE APP
We have broken this down into two categories: "Personal data" and "General data". Personal data is information that identifies you as the user and we gather the following data for the purposes of processing transactions:

- Your IP address, cookies and device identifier;
- Transaction amount, product and currency/method used for payment
- Transaction history;
- The phone number of the person who you are sending mobile airtime or data to;
- Any other information that may be included upon registering on the website.
We may also gather statistical and analytical information from the website and our mobile app, which is listed on Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. Our statistical and analytical information is for internal purposes and does not reveal any personal details or contact information (general data). We use statistical and analytical information to constantly improve the website and mobile app to make the user experience as safe and easy as possible for our users.
If you opt to allow our mobile app to access your contact list, we may connect through your device to your phone book, which includes names and contact numbers. We only use this information to process transactions to intended recipients and for no other purposes. We do not hold this information in any way at any time.

We collect information from you when you register on our website or mobile app, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter or enter information on our site or mobile app.

HOW DO I DELETE MY ACCOUNT AND ASSOCIATED DATA?
The OverseasTopUp website and mobile application allows users to initiate the deletion of their account and their data. Once a customer initiates deletion of their account, their account and data will be permanently deleted, and only basic transaction data will be retained by OverseasTopUp where required for internal and legal purposes only.
AFTER I REQUEST THE DELETION OF MY ACCOUNT, CAN I SIGN UP AGAIN?
Where a user requests the deletion of their OverseasTopUp account and their data, they will need to sign up again with a different email address as their original account will be deleted and blocked by our platform for security purposes.
HOW DO WE PROTECT & STORE YOUR INFORMATION?
The OverseasTopUp website and mobile application are protected by Google’s reCAPTCHA fraud and abuse system.
An external payment gateway handles all credit and debit card transactions. Our payment gateway is fully compliant with PCI DSS standards and uses 3-D Secure (3-DS) protocols. OverseasTopUp does not collect or retain any personal cardholder information at any point.
All customer information is stored on a secure server within the EEA. OverseasTopUp may be required to share personal information outside of the EEA to enable us to provide you with our top up services.
DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION
We may share information with government agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorised transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place. The information is never provided to these companies for marketing or other purposes.
